An app Programming Interface (API) enables different software apps to communicate with each other. It provides developers with access to specific parts of a software, allowing them to extend the functionality of their own apps or access previously unavailable information. APIs are often included in Software Development Kits (SDKs), which are client-side libraries facilitating API usage while also providing additional tools and resources.
