Cohort / Cohort Analysis

A cohort is a set of users grouped together because of a common identifier. A cohort can be anything: from users being located in a certain location to users who installed an app within the same time period. Cohort analysis enables marketers to study engagement within a particular cohort, providing valuable insights to market apps better.
