Mobvista was launched in 2013 with the vision to build an ecosystem of tools and technologies that would power the growth of global app developers, bridging Eastern and Western markets.
In 2015, we began the development of Mintegral, a programmatic interactive mobile advertising platform; today, Mintegral has become one of the top global mobile advertising platforms. In 2016, we added more capabilities through the acquisitions of Nativex, the US-based mobile advertising company, and GameAnalytics, a European game data analytics platform, accelerating our business expansion in Europe and America.
In 2019, we focused on building “a SaaS Tooling Ecosystem”, offering a complete suite of unified technologies and products that help companies of all sizes, from large enterprises to small start-ups. The ecosystem looks at providing everything from data analytics, user growth and monetization technologies to cloud cost optimization. At every stage in our customer’s growth, Mobvista is there to help.
Today I am happy to share news of a new addition to our growing ecosystem. Mobvista has entered into an agreement to acquire Beijing Reyun Technology Co., Ltd.(“Reyun”), a leading Chinese third-party mobile measurement and marketing technology company. After the completion of the acquisition, Reyun will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mobvista, while still operating as an independent brand.
Reyun’s market-leading technologies add another powerful component to our growing ecosystem of SaaS tools, providing full-stack mobile marketing SaaS solutions for global developers looking to enter the Chinese market.
Since its foundation in November 2013, Reyun has offered developers a wide range of products and technologies for robust marketing including data analytics, mobile measurement, campaign management, creative insights, and fraud protection, meeting customers’ needs across their entire value chain and product life cycle.
Currently, Reyun analyzes data from more than 700 million active devices each month, and its products are trusted by thousands of Chinese mobile companies spanning across verticals including gaming, social networking, finance, e-commerce, education, live broadcasting, life services, and mobile network operators.
To grow and thrive in the post-pandemic world, businesses need to compete with one another on a global level – an area our products and technologies are designed for at their core. As developers look to expand into global markets, they can only win in the long run if they possess scalable global solutions. Mobvista continues to help companies across 85 countries grow globally, and Reyun increases our ability to help global developers explore the Chinese market. The acquisition of Reyun will further emphasize our goal to bridge the Eastern and Western markets.
Data privacy needs to be at the heart of a healthy and successful advertising industry. That means our customers need tools that will drive their digital growth in a way which is privacy-centric. Data which is scattered across different platforms will need to be collected, secured, and processed. Independent, third-party platforms with full-stack service capabilities are well-placed to address this. In addition to this, industry-wide consolidations will become a norm under this new landscape.
