Cost per action (CPA) or cost per acquisition is a pricing model in where advertisers pay a fixed rate for a user's completion of a specific post-install event, such as a purchase or registration. Advertisers only pay for users who engage in the desired action. CPA is calculated by dividing the overall campaign cost by the number of user actions.
